Wok Pizza and a Castle
I bought a pizza the other day and didn't realize that the kitchen in the dorm doesn't actually have an oven. Although they do have a small countertop oven (not sure of the technical name). Anyways, one of the girls on my floor helped me figure it out, but I didn't realize there's a lot more that goes into making a pizza than I had realized. You need a pizza pan, pizza cutter, mitten, etc. Well, I improvised and used a wok that one of the previous international student teaching groups had left. I didn't have a mitten so I used a wooden spoon to get it out and a steak knife to cut it. Thankfully, it tasted good. I'm ready to get home and eat something my mom has made (country-style ribs, steamed carrots, corn from the garden, if there's any, and rolls with chocolate chip cookies for dessert, please). Now I can say that I've eaten a pizza in a wok. Random...yes, I know.

Yesterday we went for a field trip to a secondary school here and then around the city. We went down to the dock and saw the water and this:

Apparently one of these tiny "houses" can be yours for $20,000 US dollars. A lot of people come down to the beach on the weekend and stay in these little "houses". Finally, we saw a castle.
