That's why the White Witch gave them out....

Today was quite the eventful day. We had May Day practice at school. I have never actually seen a really May pole. The children did a wonderful job! Tomorrow is the big day. The parents are coming to see the children sing some songs and dance around the May pole. Tonight I told Carrie that I really wanted a hamburger from McDonalds. Thankfully it's Thursday, so all the shops stay open until 8 o'clock. :O Most of the time they close around 5-6:00. :( Carrie, Jenny, Dr. Spencer, and I went to the mall and had dinner (we ate there last night too). I had a Big Mac. Yummy... I think the last time I had one was in Rome. We stopped into Marks and Spencer to grab some snacks. Carrie found turkish delight there. She wanted to try some. This was her reaction.

I wish that I could have gotten a picture of her face the moment it hit her tongue. It was comical! Then, as we were headed home, we came to the candy bar I graciously left for Jenny, but she didn't want it. I don't know why....

Finally, almost every morning it has been raining on the way to school. Carrie and I have to wear our wellies and then take an extra pair of shoes to school. Well, one morning we came across this umbrella. We have been dying to take our picture with it, but haven't had the time. Well, here's the lovely umbrella.
