Name:

I am a very easy-going gal who loves adventure. Education is one of my passions. I love to learn. I would be a professional student for the rest of my life if college wasn't so darn expensive. :) I want to master the game of golf, but haven't been successful yet....

Life

About a month ago I decided to apply for a new job here in town. I sent in my resume and gave them a call. Quite honestly, I didn't expect to hear anything back. God had so much more in mind for me. The last week of school they called me and asked for an interview. I told my boss and a couple of close friends and coworkers, but I assured them that I was going into this with the expectation that nothing would come of it. Once again, God had more in mind. They called my references, and apparently they all had good things to say! :) The school offered me the job.
I prayed about it, cried about it, prayed and cried some more. After seeking the wisdom and advice of friends and family I decided to accept the job offer. To be quite honest, I really didn't want to leave my job. After two years of teaching Language, I had my routine down which means that I could spend more time perfecting my lessons and cheesy songs ( I love, love, love to teach them silly songs about English)!

The last two days I have been cleaning out my classroom. Yesterday, I had a bit of a near breakdown. Those that know me well, know that it takes a lot to make me cry. There in that classroom while taking down some letters students had written me, I began to cry. In that moment I just started to reflect on how far God has brought me in the last two years: moving to Arizona with a car load of stuff and no job. In that short amount of time God has put people in my life and taken me places (Egypt) that I never thought I could go. I continue to remind myself that He has a plan though I can't see it.
